Dear Friends,
Recently, I was an assistant to the Ambassador of Nagaland, Grace Collins.
(Nagaland is now being called
Nagalim (lim). It means "land" in native
Nagamese.) We traveled with a six member
team on restricted area visas to this remote area of the
globe, which most the modern world doesn't even know about.
Situated in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains
between Burma, Bangladesh, China and India, this
tiny nation is more than ninety-five percent believing,
practicing Christians.
I have never seen such a solidarity
of true Christian belief in all my travels. Their
ancient tribal tradition of headhunting was completely
converted in the early 1800s by Baptist Missionaries. And
Nagalim claims to have over 10,000 missionaries ready to
evangelize her heathen neighbors of
Buddhist, Hindu, Communist and Muslim. Nagaland
has more bible schools per capita than any other nation
but India oppresses their population and
will not give such visas to travel.
This is
an urgent prayer project for free people.
FREE NAGALIM. Free the native
missionaries who are much needed in that part of the
world!
Nagalim declared their Independence
from England one day before India. Ghandi
told them that since India knew what it was like to be
oppressed, they would not oppress the smaller nations around
them. He urged them to join a unity agreement
with India and when they refused based on the obvious
causes, that their physical race, culture and religion was
vastly different and unique, he believed India would
honor their declaration of Independence. However, the next
day he was assassinated and the promise fled with his
soul. Now, for over 58 years, Nagaland has been in a bloody
war and cycles of cease fire with India's Deli based
army.
India has a caste system that
puts Christians on the bottom, so Nagaland
is not in a respectable position as far as India
is concerned. And as long as the world doesn't know
that Nagalim even exists, who will slap India on the hand
for abusing them, sitting on their rich oil reserves
and other human rights violations?
Our team was
able to film interviews with people who had suffered severe
Human Rights violations against themselves and loved
ones they'd lost. We have a petition that needs
50,000 signatures to bring Washington, DC to attention
on this matter of Freeing Nagland.
Nagalim used to be one nation. But
the they were divided into
four states;Manipur, Assam, Nagaland, Araniba Perdesh.
And 1/3rd of the original land mass was given to Burma
before the other division into 4 states mentioned above.
This was done to weaken the resolve and power of
Naglaim people to stay united. Nagland wants to be a
whole nation once more and their banner is: Nagland For
Christ.
Nagalim has oil to offer, and it has many
new venture possibilities for investors, and it is a
strategic military location for the United States to
pay attention to. Situated between two super powers of India
and China, it would be the ideal place for one of our
military bases to offer protection for the Naga's and that
entire region. Nagaland armies fought with allied forces in
World War II and stopped the Japanese there in Kohema. We
should be grateful and lend the same help back in their
direction! We give millions of dollars to her heathen
neighbors who dishonor Christ and who only express
hatred towards us, not gratitude. Shouldn't we help a
Christian nation?
AMERICA SHOULD GET
INVOLVED! And because of the Baptist
Missionaries that once led them to Christ before they were
all kicked out by India, Nagaland looks up to Americans as
their spiritual fathers even to this day.
