In the early 1990's

      I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to research the Curse upon America for trying to displace Jewish settlers off their God granted land.

Jerehmiah is a book full of prophecy concerning the time when God would bring his people out a long exile and return them to the

covenant lands of Abraham. From the North, East, West, South, he would draw them. So, to set one's hand against Isreal is to set

one's hand and nation against God. Jerehmiah also said that a cup of shaking and trembling would come to all nations for their

mistreatment of Isreal.

       Why do our politicians not consider this? Not because they have not been repeatedly visited by knowlegeable ministers who

can accurately present the biblical and current events case. It is because they do not want to listen, due to the liberal anit Christ agenda

 of many predecessors in the political arena. Trying to follow failed roadmaps for peace and peace summits is a tangeled mess!

      

       At the library, one day, I studied the archives of the peace summit newspaper articles:

       And the evidence of a curse upon our nation was all there in black and white. Every single time America called a peace summit

to tell Isreal to remove settlers from her land and give it to her enemies, we ourselves suffered a major disastor on the eve of the summit or

in very close proximity.

       

      Once, an east wind blew and damaged the President's house in Kenny Buckport Maine. Another summit was followed by a hurricane

in Florida that saw mostly one damage over and over, more than others, the removal of house tops. Spray painted on a tarp over one was

a message that had caught the eye of a reporter: "What we did to Isreal, God did to us. We took their homes

last week and we have none this week!" And in connection with another summit, the LA riots broke out. In connection with another, the

earthquake of CA. On and on it goes. And the odd thing was, the rest of the calendar year for those newspapers, showed no major

disastors! Only near a Peace Summit with Isreal and Palistinians.

 for Israel  and the salvation of the Jewish  people.

                      SHARON, BUSH & THE WORLD WILL PAY A HIGH PRICE FOR THE GAZA DISENGAGEMENT

The above was the title of the Carmel Comment 2 weeks ago.  For those who take Genesis 12:3 seriously, the expected seems to have happened very quickly.  We have been closely monitoring the news reports covering Hurricane Katrina. As the full extent of the deaths and devastation becomes known, it looks more and more like YHVH's response to the current US adminstration's involvement in the Gaza Disengagement. George Bush and Condalisa Rice are guilty of bullying the  Israeli government into giving away land  that rightfully belongs to the Jewish people and have thus brought this calamity upon the people of the USA.  In one way the whole world is already paying the price as oil prices climb to the $70 mark, due to hurricane damage to the US oil industry.

Naturally we are shocked at the growing number of deaths being confirmed, the extreme circumstances that many innocent Americans now find themselves living under , and the enormous estimates of financial damage caused by Katrina. Josie and I extend our sympathies to all who have suffered loss or been affected by the disaster.  We have also been receiving email updates from many other respected prayer & prophetic ministries, who have made the connection between the USA enforced Gaza Disengagement and what is shaping up to be the worst natural disaster to hit the United States in recent memory. Hurricane Katrina must have been incubating even as the Jewish citizens of Gush Kativ were being forcibly removed from their homes.   Another uncanny coincidence ?    I think not !!!   The track record shows similar responses from YHVH every time the USA leadership harms Israel in any way  -  a natural disaster hits the USA.  The Hebrew meaning of the 2nd part of Gen 12:3 warns that even taking Israel lightly will bring down a curse from God.  Irrefutable evidence YHVH always keeps to His word.   The human cost and the massive fiscal costs that Katrina has inflicted on New Orleans, Mobile and other places may well have been the cost extracted by YHVH because of  the way the current US administration is treating Israel.  

As New Orleans descended into anarchy in the wake of devastating Hurricane Katrina and its inundating floods, Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert delivered his stunning opinion that rebuilding the historic city would be pointless and a waste of money. Hastert said it makes no sense to spend billions of dollars to rebuild a city that's seven feet under sea level.  "It looks like a lot of that place could be bulldozed," the Illinois Republican said.

As far as I am concerned, the buck stops with the President and the Secretary of State.

For this week's comment I am sending out a brief but excellent update from fellow Israeli Avner Boskey.  Many will have already received other articles on Katrina & Gaza.  Josie and I believe we all need to take this the warning in Gen 12:3 and this disaster very seriously.
We need to warn our governments about meddling with God's plans for Israel's borders. Much is being written in Christian media about the connection between Gaza & Katrina, but the politicians and the secular media have no idea of what is really going on.  CNN is reporting the Katrina catastrophe and re-playing video of the Gaza evictions, without connecting the two.  And George Bush seems to be have no more revelation of what he has brought on his country.  I want to issue all our readers, particularly our US brethren, to be bold and write to your political leaders and do everything you can to speak to the secular media about the blessings and curses of Gen 12:3.  We need to be unashamed voices crying in the spiritual wilderness.

The past two weeks have seen Israel withdraw from Gaza as a result of (among other things) American policy and pressure. In previous newsletters we have quoted US State Department and Presidential statements to that effect.
 
The rushing onset of Hurricane Katrina is shocking and ominous. Check out www.stratfor.com 's breaking article "The Geopolitics of Katrina" for the potential strategic damage that could be caused to the US and global economy and petroleum industry as  a result of this hurricane. The Port of Southern Louisiana is the USA's largest port and the fifth largest in the world in terms of tonnage. It is America's key port for grain export. Approximately 25% of  U.S. produced crude oil comes from the Gulf of Mexico.
 
Consider Bill Koenig's web site www.watch.org and his book "Eye to Eye – Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel" which charts the uncanny connection between USA attempts to pressure Israel into shrinking its borders, and nearly simultaneous natural disasters in America.
 
We ask you to consider God's hand in present events. Genesis 12:3 is a prophetic promise that says that God will curse the one who speaks curses Israel.  What happens in Israel affects the rest of the world, and how any country treats Israel has a lot to do with how God treats that country. We are praying, deeply concerned and grieved about the onset of Katrina.
 
Here are some appalling parallels that need to be considered as we all pray into this situation.
 
* Recent comments over the past hours on the FOX NEWS Channel eerily parallel what has just happened in Gaza. One commentator referred to the inhabitants of New Orleans and said, "It must be an emotional experience to walk away from their houses and not know if they will be able to live in them again." That is exactly what has transpired here this past week for Gaza's Jewish population.
 
* Another commentator said that most of all the wooden structures in New Orleans will be destroyed. Nearly all of the structures in Gaza's Jewish communities and farms have been destroyed.
 
* Ivor Van Heeden, deputy director of Louisiana State University's Hurricane Center, recently said on FOX that there is a high probability that the hurricane will loosen many of the coffins in New Orleans and that corpses will be loosened and moved from their resting places. One of the three top items on Israel's news tonight was the forced removal of Jewish graves from the Gaza Strip and the transportation of the corpses for reburial in other parts of Israel.
 
* Whereas Gaza was placed under a state of emergency as its 8,000 residents were evacuated, now New Orleans has been given orders for a mandatory evacuation of nearly 500,000 people.
 
* Whereas many Israeli Jews from Gaza are in temporary refugee camps and tent cities, there is talk of up to one million refugees needing to be settled in temporary camps in the Louisiana and Mississippi area.
 
It seems that the US and Israel are joined together this week by some measure of tragedy. We grieve for this, and especially for the apparent links between these two events.
 
Pray for America's leadership, that their spiritual eyes and ears may be attentive to the God of Israel who stirs up the waves so that they roar. Let us not shut our ears if He is speaking. And let us handle with respect the people whom He has chosen as the apple of His eye.

The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel .  Please pray for the settlers to remain strong and united against the Sharon government's plan to eject them from their rightful land. Please remember to pray for our son Stefan & his fellows soldiers in the IDF.
