God is changing the spiritual compass of his
children in 2006. – …”That we might know the
- Height
- Breadth
- Width
- Depth
of His love and purpose for our lives”.
(Ephesians 1:17 & 3:17) Pray this over yourself daily as
Paul prayed it for the early church that was full of
miracles but full of great
trials.
Today the Lord was pulling all the fragmented pieces
together in a picture that has been developing through this
ministry and walk with Him for the past three
decades.
In July
1980, life was like a
whirlwind for a young woman, barely out of her teens, just
graduated from art college, living in Plymouth,
MA, working on
a church plant team for the International Four Square
Gospel. Suddenly the Holy Spirit had visited her with
re-direction, to sell all she had and go to Bible School in Oklahoma, in only seven
days!. A rather quiet life would never be the
same.
And it made no sense to go. There was a killer
heat wave across the nation that very week, not the time to
load up on a bus with only a suitcase and no more money than
the round trip ticket! It should have been the time to begin
knocking on doors for a job with the new diploma and
portfolio in nearby Boston
and New
York.
God had other plans. He always does when He is
in control.
Jesus told Nicodemus that one who is born
again must be flexible to flow like the wind and the river.
Nicodemous didn’t ask Jesus how to be born again. He asked
him how to get the power that he witnessed in Jesus’ miracle
ministry. You can have the power too, if you fully surrender
and belong to God and not to yourself. But to mortal
creatures this is not easy, is it? It takes supernatural
intervention, faith, commitment and usually many trials
along the way.
The young girl was me, and when I got to the
Campmeeting in Tulsa
OK that the Bible
School
founder was having, the Lord took me up to Heaven, in an all
consuming vision. My body could be watched from there, still
sitting on earth with my hands raised above my head, with my
lips praising Jesus as they were in the instant that a
sovereign visitation snatched me and seemed to suck me right
up out of the north east corner of the Civic
Center
roof!
Had I died? No. How had I come? I wasn’t sure. But it
had something to do with the most intense praise level I’d
ever entered into in my life. And curiously, it lasted four
hours. Filled with stout challenge and direction for the
ministry I’d come all that way to embark
upon.
In October 1982,
there was just as suddenly another such experience. An elder
pastor, well known to much of the Pentecostal and
charismatic realm, Mrs. Carmen Goodwin, called me to join
her in a service at Pastor Terry Mize’s church in Tulsa, OK. They were going to
pray for missionaries that night. God loves that, his
harvesters are of the utmost interest to him. And the Glory
fell. Pray about what Jesus is praying about and it will! At
the end of the service, once again, as before I was called
up. Up. Up. To a heavenly detatched place, above earth, not
by way of death, but by way of a trance or vision. And Jesus
explained some prayer assignments and much more for the
coming days of the church. Again, it curiously lasted the
same, four earth hours. But it seemed like
twenty.
I began searching for answers. Why four? Why each time God intervened suddenly to do
such a marvelous thing was it four hours of
visitation?
One day an elderly prayer warrior heard of this
experience in my young life. She said, “Honey, Four is God’s
divine number of Spiritual Redirection for our
lives.
Spiritual Re-
direction!
In November
2005, at Gateway
Christian
Center’s A.R.C
meeting in New
Haven, CT. The Lord spoke to my
spirit as worship was closing, “Four. Four hours of prayer a
day.”
My heart revolted. I always tried to live in a state
of prayerfulness as best I could. But I had mega micr-
managing to do with our ministry and tiny volunteer staff, I
had books to finish and pressing matters constantly weighing
on me, how could I do four? But God doesn’t ask, he tells.
He calls and we either love our life as it is and won’t
follow, or we change direction and get on for the next wild
ride as the river flows and the wind blows FROM whence we knoweth not and TO whence
we knoweth not.
Honestly, I must say that this business of four it
quite challenging. Have I mastered it yet? No. Am I working
on it? You bet! It is the key to expansion and redirection
for the great outpouring of
2006.
The Lord continued. “Four
hours of prayer. You must expand to carry the Glory more
fully to this generation. Prayer will conquer what you are
frustrated with as we speak.
- One
hour in Praise and
Worship, come up higher. Play every musical
instrument that I have given you, piano, guitar, flute
harp. Four. Play till you can perform at the drop of a hat
on any of them that are available to you anywhere I send
you, any time. Instant in season. Instant out of
season.
- One
hour in the
Word. New revelation
- One
hour about Finances.
You do NOT
have enough faith for the resources that I need you to
manage to reach the multitudes that I have called you to
reach. The richest man on earth doesn’t either. (This
makes me wonder if He isn’t about ready to unload out the
richest man’s pockets that great wealth transfer we’ve all
been expecting for years, into the flow of ministry for
the endtime!) The rich man thinks he is rich. But in an
instant of a Tsunami, a Hurricane, A war, A plaque, A
stock market crash, A terror attack, he suddenly isn’t
anymore.)
- One
hour about the mysteries of your faith in the spirit of
Prayer
with tongues in your prayer language, yielded to me to pray out what you don’t
know. Who will you reach? How will you reach them? Where
will you go? When? Etc..
This is the key to expansion and
re-direction in 2006. You will have to live above all else that
begs your attention.
Then this past Tuesday in January
2006, God visited me
with a dream. I sent it in the email to all of you last
week. Jesus walked with me through the devastation of cities
that no more existed not only in New
Orleans, but all over the United
States. There was not one
region, north east south or west left
untouched.
“The only safe place left will be in my Glory”, he
said to me.
I asked, “Jesus, I feel so bad. Why am I at peace
walking through other people’s
destruction?”
“Because you are walking here with me and we are IN
THE GLORY and though a thousand fall by your right side and
ten thousand by your left, it shall not come near you when
you are in my presence.” Then he talked to me about the
ministry.
But he summarized crisply like
this:

Salvation is my will for ALL. But not All receive. It
is hard to extract a man from satan’s grip when he will need
listen to the preaching of salvation. Faith cometh by
hearing and hearing by the word of God. How shall they hear
unless a preacher preach and teach to them my word? (Note
Romans 10:13- Romans
10:17)

Healing is my will for All. But not ALL receive. You,
yourself know much about healing, you have worked with me in
healing the sick and yet you have had to fight great attacks
on your own body, and had to stand in my word to be healed.
Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. How
shall they hear unless a preacher preach and teach to them
my word? (Note Romans 10:13- Romans
10:17)
3.
Prosperity is my will for ALL. But not All receive. Most
of my body is so broke that they can barely make ends meet
and few are wealthy enough to give into the kingdom with out
sacrificing greatly. Rarely do any give with out some tinge
of pain over it. So few have faith for the level they could
and should walk in, including you. Faith cometh by hearing
and hearing by the word of God. How shall they hear unless a
preacher preach and teach to them my word? (Note Romans 10:13- Romans
10:17)
4.
Protection is my will for ALL. But not All receive. They
spend what little time they have in subjects about Healing
and Prosperity. They entertain themselves with End-time
prophecies but most don’t pray over them for the most part.
How many ever dwell in promises of
my Word for protection? And yet they will
need it more than any thing else in the near days to
come. I am going to allow this nation to
continue to be visited by destruction and judgements. Four
more waves are coming soon. But I would visit my body first
with an outpouring on this wise, that they come into the ark
of my Glory and my protection and be able to stand and
survive what is coming. I love them. Teach on this
everywhere you go.
Then I listened to a tape by Pastor Dutch Sheets,
from Colorado
Springs, CO, last night and to him
also God was saying, this would be a year of divine
re-allignments. And yet a year when God would reek havoc on
politicians and a year of death for many people in many
places, but for the church a year of great outpouring.
Today, I read prophecies that other Christian Media people
sent me, things they are concerned about for the capitol and
six major cities. The news media are telling about new
terrorist tapes that threaten. Who
knows?
But God is speaking, and confirming, get ready for
the GLORY! In it are waves of blessing and destruction
both.

Let us heed the moving of the Holy Spirit. He
is resetting the four points
on his divine heavenly compass for our
lives!
God bless you and keep you safe! Read Psalm 91, it
will bless you. Read it daily and meditate upon it and it
will keep you in his presence if you obey what it
says.
