Did you know that the words of

spawned a quest for liberty in the hearts of the oppressed American
colonist seeking freedom from the British? The
Revolutionary War was a direct result of the revival that preceded
it, THE GREAT AWAKENING.
Genesis 12:8
speaks of a lamb's blood, symbolicly applied on the lentil of
the door for Passover as the death angel of judgment visited Egypt
on the eve of God's might deliverance for his nation of Israel from
their bondage. That was ancient times but in 1777, the blood
covenant of Christ, freshly reapplied to the repentant hearts of
those living in the 13 colonies, caused a stirring of faith that
beat impossible odds. They stood fearlessly in the face of the
mightiest army on earth as it attacked them and they
won!
